Description
She’s making her mark in Corporate America. He’s running from it. As the only woman on the team, Jacqueline is fighting the good fight. She’ll prove her merits to the company, turn around the “traditional” ways of climbing the ladder, and bring some diversity into the corporate leadership. But when her boss asks her to plan a team outing, her irritation over being chosen because she’s female gets the better of her. Over dinner, she lets her eccentric friend convince her a cattle drive will be the perfect retreat. Luca learned his lesson in the big city. It’s absolutely not for him. He’s much healthier now, building his new, quieter life and helping his best friend run Thoroughgood Ranch. His custom home on the adjacent property will be ready soon, and he’ll live out his days on horseback, driving cattle, rather than in a stuffy office with a “noose” around his neck. What a simple joy it is to breathe the clean mountain air rather than smog. When a high-heel-wearing woman arrives with the group booked for Thoroughgood’s next week-long cattle drive, Luca ends up having to make sure this city slicker survives the wild west. It’ll be a real hoot when she learns they can’t drive through a local coffee shop with a herd of three hundred cows.
